A later start than usual, but plenty of yard work accomplished, including new engine control cables, idle control valves, stem to stern detailing and trim pump maintenance. A good experience with our first Winter season at Ocean Beach Marine in Cedar Creek.
A foggy but nice ride to Barnegat, she ran beautifully. After the ride home there was 103 gallons of fuel on board and 386 hours on the engines.
Just need to install the fresh cockpit bolsters and she's good to go!

June 2
A lovely early evening run up Oyster Creek Channel with Mimi to say hello to the lighthouse. Great view of Sea Dog coming in from a trip. We steamed over to Viking Village and found a beached sailing yacht that broke free from its mooring over the Winter.

June 3
Spent a couple of hours testing the waters. Started out front for about 45 minutes. Not much happening, except for bait, and a whale rising to break the surface of the water just enough to catch their breath and submerging to keep feeding on the little fish I spotted across the Garmin screen. Came back into the bay and tried inside the inlet, OCC, and between the BI and the BB. Caught some good sunshine.

June 6
Mimi and Tim anchored with the masses off of Holiday Harbor Beach to watch the garvey races. Racing garvey's, Jersey speed skiffs, and some sort of hydroplanes, but a little larger than traditional hydroplanes. Fun but a bit rocky. It was nice to see the racing boats on the water again.
